Rachael Clark

ABOUT RACHAEL

Rachael currently serves as an LCSW. She uses a multi modal approach in therapy sessions, which guides her to determine the most effective technique for each individual. In addition, she specializes in working with adults who experience anger, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders and PTSD. She also utilizes the Gottman Method in her work with couples. Rachael has provided individual counseling to those in corrections, inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings along with medication assisted treatment. 

 APPROACH TO THERAPY

Rachael’s style is a warm and genuine person centered approach to develop a foundation for a strong therapeutic relationship. Rachael can also challenge you and be direct when she needs to for your growth. She uses a variety of different evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Method, Trauma narrative and mindfulness interventions to meet the needs of her clients.

FUN FACTS

Rachael has 3 kids- 21 year old twins and a 3.5 year old! Rachael’s son is a Marine and she likes to collect Sea Glass.
